Eggs, Three Ways, And A Hot Shower

Elder Hale with Elder Goodrich, his former companion.  Not sure why we got this particular
photo today.  Maybe it fulfilled the request for a picture?  Guess I need to be more specific.

Dear Family,

I tried to send a video, but it was taking to long to upload.  Sorry, lol.

This week was pretty excelente.

We found another family here in Peñaflor, so that's cool.  They didn't make it to church because their baby got sick and they had to go to Santiago on Sunday, but they're cool.

One of the sisters in the ward got sick and died this week.  She was really young, too.  She left two kids behind.  It was very sad. The sacrament meeting was basically like a funeral service because everyone knew her very well and it was *Fast Sunday.  I was kind of glad there weren't many investigators in the church because it would have been kind of a weird first experience.

I couldn't send the video, but we discovered like three different ways to cook eggs without a stove using the kitchen appliances.

I took a hot shower this week. Best day of my life.

Grateful to be a servant of the Lord, Jesucristo. <3

* One Sabbath day each month is set aside for the purpose of fasting. Members of the Church go without food and water for two consecutive meals in a 24-hour period and then contribute the money that would have been spent for that food to those in need.  During sacrament meeting, instead of assigned speakers, members bear heartfelt testimonies and relate faith-promoting experiences.
